Why Argus (百目)

  • Argus Panoptes (Greek myth) had one hundred eyes that never all closed at once — three took turns resting while the rest stayed alert.
  • In the AI-Native era, application governance needs less “collect more data” and more “let AI act as a second pair of eyes, alongside the developer — seeing problems, inferring causes, and suggesting fixes.”
  • The Chinese name 百目 (hundred eyes) conveys broad vision and sharp discernment; the English name Argus adds cultural depth and global recognizability.
